Day 6 Mile 46

Who do you love? After 30 miles of bushwhacking, we hit cleared trails thanks to the massive efforts of our new BFFs at the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club (PATC). Grateful for the volunteers! Picked up speed for the last 16 miles (yay!) and enjoyed good trail conditions north. Zero day in Elkton, VA to clean up, recalibrate, and ready for tommorow morning’s start toward Front Royal, VA – the end of Shenandoah National Park.

  1. Wow 30 miles thru the bush! You guys are rock stars! Thinking of you often. Doggies are well. We left today (sunday) to fly straight to hawaii due to denver bomb cyclone. (Yes that’s a thing). Nagels are there warming up the beaches. Be safe and find your bliss even in those challenging moments. You are already my heroes for taking this on. Xoxo Sue
